Anand Kumar Pal is Adviser in Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Government of India. He is Commerce graduate, Law graduate and Cost Accountant. He has more 28 years of work experience in industry and Government Service.

He has experience of working and implementing government policies in the field of price control mechanism on Drugs and Pharmaceuticals, Subsidy implementation and policy framing for fertilizers, policy issues central public sector enterprises. He also has good exposure of investigations of Anti-Dumping Duty and Anti Subsidy Duty of Ministry of Commerce and Industry against countries involving China, South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, USA, Russia, Austria, South Africa, Turkey, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam.

He has attended may training programs / workshops in India and Abroad.
